MOM.fashioned is back in action... We needed a little time off while I spent time with my beautiful little boy. Now that we are both getting a hang of things I'm able to fit in some blogging during his naps.

It's been a while, a very long while since I have gone to a gym class, a run or practiced yoga. I did not train during my pregnancy. A month into motherhood I do feel excited do get back into the swing of things and get back into my pre-pregnancy shape. I gained a total of 12kg during my pregnancy. I have 3kg left to lose...

So while my clothes are sitting a bit snug at the moment, I hope getting back into training will help shed the last little bit. I've noticed what a difference not exercising for so long can make. There was quite a few more yoga poses I would have liked to take pictures of, to my surprise I couldn't do them but at all.

My advice for the newbie mommies needing some self-motivation to get back to their workout routine - get yourself some fabulous new workout clothes - and Lorna Jane is exactly where you'll find them. BEST activewear I've seen to date. For extra motivation - buy the size you were pre-baby ;).

High-waisted tights are the way to go if you're not feeling completely confident in showing your stomach just yet.

P.S. No Photoshop has been used on my body. Only to adjust lighting and colour of the pictures. Our bodies go through some definite changes during pregnancy and labour and there's nothing wrong with that.
