Shoes are a Girl's Best Friend

Ah, ladies.... What can I say?
When you have a fabulous pair of shoes the rest of the outfit almost doesn't even matter.

But since it's the season of short skirts and bright colours, well, that's exactly what I went with.

Since the heels make quite a statement of their own i.e. they are super high, pink, plastic and see-through (let's call a spade a spade - they are border line stripper heels. With that being said they are also one of the most FANTASTIC shoes I have seen), and therefore a short, tight skirt (unless it is long) with these shoes is a NO-GO. Why? Because then I would look like I belong on a street corner. So to bypass this fashion faux-pas I opted for a flared, black skirt. A flared skirt gives you a cute, girly edge.

To top off the outfit, I went with a surgeon's green blouse - with the top you have to be careful too. As we have so much leg in this outfit we don't want to show too much skin elsewhere. This blouse was great as it is neck-high and has sleeves. The little bow I tied at the back adds to the cute-girlyness of the oufit.

And last but not least a pink necklace to match the pink heels.

Always remember fashion is not serious, have fun with it. xxx

“Sometimes comfort doesn't matter. When a shoe is freakin' fabulous, it may be worth a subsequent day of misery. Soak in Epsom salts and take comfort in the fact that you're better than everyone else.”
